Kyle and Jackie O reveal what Anthony Albanese's girlfriend Jodie Haydon is really like

Kyle Sandilands was very impressed by Anthony Albanese’s girlfriend Jodie Haydon when the couple attended his wedding to Tegan Kynaston on Saturday.

The newlywed radio host, 51, revealed on Monday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show that Albo’s finance expert partner even won over his hard-to-impress mother.

‘What a woman. She is cool. They sat next to my mum and she was like, “They are just normal people.” I was like, “Yeah, they are human beings,”‘ he said.

‘Mum was so taken. They loved him. Thanks for coming, Albo. Appreciate it.’

Sandilands added that the prime minister, 60, must have been having a great time because he stayed at the wedding and reception for almost seven hours.

‘Albo was having a great time. And Jodie is the best, I want to be her friend now because she is so fun,’ added co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

In an interview that aired last week, Sandilands said Mr Albanese had been given the task of keeping his mother company during the wedding.

‘She’s a fan of yours, so she’s going to lose her mind,’ he said.

Mr Albanese was initially rumoured to be DJing at the wedding, but ended up just being a guest.

The highly anticipated nuptials reportedly cost more than $1million and took place at the extravagant Swifts mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point. 

Mr Albanese was branded ‘the baby whisperer’ by his girlfriend Ms Haydon after he shared a belly laugh with Sandilands’ son Otto at the ritzy event.

Beaming from ear to ear, Mr Albanese held Sandilands and Kynaston’s child after the ceremony, with baby Otto appearing to love every bit of it.

Ms Haydon called her partner ‘the baby whisperer’ which prompted Kynaston to jokingly asking him: ‘Are you free Wednesday night to babysit?’

‘I’ll be in London, so just drop him round,’ the PM replied, before telling Sandilands to ‘have the best day’.
