A massive blowout fight over finances prompted Kroy Biermann to file for divorce from Kim Zolciak for the second time, according to a report.
Sources told TMZ Friday that the pair blamed each other for their financial ruin before the former NFL player pulled the plug on their ill-fated union.
“They’ve gotten ridiculously petty over who hasn’t paid bills,” a source told the outlet. “They’re counting down to pennies.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for Zolciak and Biermann for comment.
What’s more, TMZ claimed that Biermann, 37, regularly threatened to file for divorce following their reconciliation in July.
News broke of his second divorce filing on Thursday, three months after the first, with the retired athlete calling their marriage “irretrievably broken” in new paperwork.
Biermann is requesting sole legal and sole physical custody of their four minor children: Kroy Jr. “KJ”, 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9.
He is also seeking child support and alimony from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 45, as well as exclusive use of their marital residence.
Whispers of the pair’s ill financial situation have been circulating for months. Insiders previously told Page Six that tensions were mounting due to their increasing financial hardships behind closed doors.

Not only was their mansion under foreclosure earlier this year, but news of their split came in tandem with reports claiming they owe the IRS more than $1 million.
The pair’s initial divorce filings took place in May — and the news took social media by storm as their 11-year marriage came to an end.
What followed was an ugly back-and-forth of allegations, with Biermann claiming that the Bravolebrity was addicted to gambling and requesting that she undergo a psychological evaluation.
He claimed she had “financially devastated” their family and provided the court with copies of bank statements and checks that allegedly showed thousands of dollars in withdrawals.

He went on to insist that their kids needed protection from Zolciak after she had allegedly been “abusive” toward him.
During their marriage, Biermann legally adopted Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship: Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.
For her part, Zolciak accused Biermann of years-long “emotional and mental abuse” and claimed he had been “continuously spread[ing] lies in an attempt to paint [her] as an unfit mother for his own gain.”
She demanded that he submit a drug test, saying she had “concerns” about the “safety” of their children after claiming that she saw him smoking marijuana.
