Things took an NSFW turn on today’s episode of The View when Joy Behar credited the light in her vagina as the reason for Whoopi Goldberg’s comment on her “glow.”
However, before Goldberg could compliment the co-host, she couldn’t help but poke fun at the bright pink pantsuit Behar donned at the table. She even stopped herself from introducing the first Hot Topics segment to point it out.
“I want to say that the ceremonies continue in the U.K. … Oh, wait a minute. Before we do that, I want to point out one more thing,” Goldberg said, turning to Behar. “Pop pop fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is.”
Behar quickly caught on to the reference to her Pepto Bismol “look of the year,” asking, “You looking at me?” to which Goldberg joked, “I am. I feel better. My stomach just settled down.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin couldn’t help but jump in on the fun, adding, “You know what it is? I guess I’ve been sitting next to you for five or six years. All black. She’s, like, in mourning every single day.”
Behar admitted that the lady who does their wardrobe is sick of the “all black” looks, so “now she’s been Pepto Bismoling it up.”
Of course, to redeem the joke, Goldberg made sure to mention that ever since they started back on their new season, Behar has a “glow.”
“Are you pregnant?” she asked, before Behar rang in her NSFW response, saying, “There’s a light in my vagina. I don’t know. And it’s emanating through my entire being.”
Fans of The View remember that this wasn’t the first time Behar had an unusual response to one of Goldberg’s compliments. Just last season, Goldberg had told her she looked good, prompting a confused response from the comedian.
