John Stamos recalls being bullied before getting multiple nose jobs

John Stamos got candid about being bullied for his big nose before going under the knife.

The “Full House” star revealed in his memoir “If You Would’ve Told Me” that he got a nose job in the 80s after years of being called “Big Nose Stamos,” per an excerpt obtained by E! News.

“That nose,” he wrote. “It bothers me.”

Stamos, who first starred in “General Hospital” in 1982, recalled becoming increasingly self-conscious while watching himself on TV.

“When I see it on TV for the first time, it’s all I can look at,” the hotshot continued while discussing his feelings from the past.

“Fixating on my nose is beginning to detract from my performance. Plus, the early years of bullying . . . have me ready to make a change.”

While the “Fuller House” star, 60, got his first nose job during a filming hiatus, the results weren’t what he expected.

Stamos wrote that his new nose looked “kind of pushed up like Peter Pan or something.” So on his next break from filming the soap opera, he had “it redone by Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon.”

“Who better to handle the delicate task of resculpting my nose than the man who created a whole new face for M.J.?” the actor joked in his book.

“Fixating on my nose is beginning to detract from my performance,” he recalled feeling at the time.

Stamos further said that he probably would’ve gotten more work done if it wasn’t for his mom, who helped keep him grounded.

She always made sure her son was “safe, supported, and having a good time,” he wrote. “It matters to her that I don’t get so swept up in the moment that I lose my connection to family, friends, faith, and fun.”

The actor also dropped other details about his life in his memoir, which was released Tuesday.

While writing the book, the actor was reminded of the time his former babysitter allegedly sexually abused him when he was around age 11.

“I remembered it slightly,” he told People Wednesday. “It has always been there, but I packed it away as people do, right?”

Stamos recalled playing “dead” to get the unnamed abuser to stop.

The memory has always been in the “back” of his head, but he “didn’t tell” anybody about it.

Stamos finally decided to share the story in his book, but he kept the details of the incident to only a page to avoid the alleged offense overshadowing the entire memoir.

He also avoided writing too much about his marriage and divorce from Rebecca Romijn, only saying he “hated” her during their split and once thought she was “the devil.”
