Donald Trump’s hush-money scandal and the alleged extramarital affair at the center of it have been a thorn in Melania Trump’s side for years now. After testifying about her night of non-passion with Donald, Stormy Daniels further needled Melania by offering her some marriage advice. Daniels played an integral role in Donald becoming a convicted felon, but based on a recording obtained by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Melania may have been more upset about Daniels’ 2018 Vogue profile.
While serving as a senior advisor for Melania, Wolkoff taped the then-first-lady ranting to her about Daniels doing her Vogue photoshoot with renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz. In a recording that Wolkoff shared on Michael Cohen’s “Mea Culpa” podcast, a clearly miffed Melania complains, “Annie Leibovitz shot the porn hooker, and she will be [in] one of the issues.” So, Melania and Donald both have mean-spirited nicknames for Daniels.
In her book “Melania and Me,” Wolkoff claims that Vogue actually tried to arrange an interview and photoshoot with Melania, even promising her that Leibovitz would be behind the lens. However, what the magazine would not promise is that Melania would get prime placement on the cover — so she reportedly turned the magazine down.
