Jetstar passengers have experienced delays at airports around Australia after an IT outage.

The budget airline experienced an IT issue with their check-in and boarding systems this afternoon, which impacted some flights.

The IT issue has since been resolved, but not after causing some delays at airports.

The airline said online check-in was still available for passengers.

An account belonging to Jetstar on X told one passenger the airline was “sorry for the inconvenience caused.”

“We are experiencing some technical difficulties with our system at the moment,” they said.

“Our team is working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible so we appreciate your patience in the meantime.”
