Jets seven-round NFL mock draft 1.0: A compelling addition to the QB room

It’s April. That means it’s time to dive fully into the NFL Draft.

While draft season never truly ends, it really picks up steam now that free agency is mostly over and college teams have had their Pro Days. The Jets and other teams in the NFL are now beginning to incorporate the coaches into the draft process and the teams begin to really build their draft plan.

The Jets have holes to fill in this draft, but it is hard to predict what to expect from new general manager Darren Mougey. He is not going to tip his hand and there is no drafting record to try to read and project his moves.

We used Pro Football Network’s mock draft tool for our first mock draft of the season. We did not make any trades this time around. Here is what we came up with in our first mock:
