Evangeline Lilly says Jeremy Renner’s recovery from his snowplow accident is nothing short of a “miracle.”
The “Lost” alum told “Access Hollywood” Tuesday that she saw her longtime friend “the other night” and that he was already “mobile” with the assistance of a wheelchair.
“He has recovered like a mofo,” Lilly, 43, shared.
“I walked in his house and got chicken skin, ’cause I was like, ‘Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What’s happening?’”

The “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star, 43, said she expected to “hold his hand” by his bedside as he “moaned and groaned in pain,” but instead she found him “wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends.”
“It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle,” she said. “He’s made of something really tough, that guy. You’ve always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and I’m so grateful.”

The “Hurt Locker” star, 52, underwent emergency surgery for “blunt chest trauma” and other injuries following the New Year’s Day accident in which he was run over by a 14,000-pound plow near his Reno, Nev., house.
After returning home on Jan. 16, the “Hawkeye” star revealed he broke more than 30 bones while trying to save his nephew.

“These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens,” he wrote on social media alongside a photo of himself in a hospital bed with a doctor stretching his leg.
“Much love and appreciation to you all,” he added.
