‘When I see this photo I just want to give this younger version of me a hug and say it’s going to be ok,’ the award-winning journalist began the post.

‘Growing up I didn’t know I had dyslexia,’ she shared. ‘It made reading so difficult which made me feel really behind the other kids.’

The former TV host, who has been fiancé Jeff Bezos, 60,  since 2019, admitted she was ‘scared’ of not being able to read.

‘Later, my community college professor changed the trajectory of my life by getting me tested for dyslexia,’ she wrote.

‘Nothing was the same after that — I learned how to learn — and I’m forever grateful,’ she gushed.

The media pro enthusiastically said she is so happy she can now appreciate World Book Day and that she gets to celebrate my love of reading and writing – which inspired her to write her first children’s book: The Fly Who Flew To Space.

‘Don’t get me wrong, my spelling is so bad even spell check doesn’t know what I’m trying to write sometimes,’ she joked.

‘BUT, if the little girl in this picture knew she’d be writing a children’s book, she would never have believed it,’ she concluded the heartwarming post.
