Jay-Z accuser stands by rape claims after rapper sues for defamation

The woman who accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 years old is standing by her claims after the rapper sued her and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, for defamation.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, the woman, whose identity has not been revealed, stated that although her rape lawsuit was dismissed, she is sticking by her accusations.

She further alleges that the “Empire State of Mind” rapper is trying to bully her into recanting her claims.

In the docs, the woman alleged she was recently approached outside of her home and cornered by two people who claimed to be investigators for one of Jay-Z’s attorneys.

They allegedly tried to get her to sign paperwork stating that her rape claims against the Grammy winner (real name: Shawn Carter) were false, which she declined to do.

Jane Doe — who has publicly admitted to “inconsistencies” in her lawsuit — also claimed that the investigators asked her if Buzbee sought her out and offered her money to pursue Jay-Z in the rape case. Per court docs, she denied both allegations.

She now says she is intimidated and terrified following the alleged confrontation and doesn’t know how the two people found her when she has remained anonymous publicly.

In response to Jay-Z’s new lawsuit, Buzbee told Page Six in a statement, “[Jay-Z’s team] just filed a fabricated case in Alabama claiming [Jane Done] recanted and she hasn’t and won’t. She has been harassed and threatened. We intend to seek court relief to get Shawn Carter’s team to leave her alone.”

Reps for Jay-Z did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Last October, the woman initially filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming that the rap mogul allegedly raped her when she was 13 with the help of two unnamed celebrities at a MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000. (Combs has denied the claims.)

Then, in December, she amended the lawsuit to include Jay-Z’s name as one of the undisclosed celebrities who was allegedly part of the alleged rape.

In the suit, the woman claimed the “Hard Knock Life” emcee, 55, allegedly removed her clothes and held her down and raped her while Combs, also 55, and the unidentified female celebrity watched.

She also alleged that the Bad Boy Records founder raped her as Jay-Z and the woman watched.

In a lengthy statement obtained by Page Six at the time, the Roc Nation founder vehemently denied the “heinous” allegations and slammed “deplorable” lawyer Buzbee for his “pattern … of theatrics.”

“What [Buzbee] had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle,” he told us.

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”

In February, Doe dropped her rape lawsuit against the dad of three and he released a statement celebrating the win.

“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere,” he said.

“The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims,” Jay-Z added.

“I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.”

The following month, Jay-Z filed a lawsuit against the woman and Buzbee, accusing them of conspiring to falsely accuse him of sexual assault, which allegedly caused him to lose at least $20 million.
