Jamie Foxx helps woman in Chicago, ‘feels good’ after mystery illness

Jamie Foxx was once again spotted in Chicago – this time helping a woman who lost her bag.

One of the “Ray” star’s male fans in the Windy City shared a video Monday of Foxx returning his mother’s purse to her after she had lost it.

“Mom lost her bag in Chicago today Jamie fox [sic] found it and brought it to her and he said he feels good y’all god is good 🙏🏾,” the fan captioned the video.

In the clip, Foxx can be seen getting back into a black SUV after handing off the purse and departing with a “hang loose” hand signal.

“Thank you, Jamie,” the lucky woman in the video yelled out before Foxx drove off.

The footage comes on the heels of the Oscar-winning actor stepping out publicly for the first time since his mysterious “medical complication” that hospitalized him in Georgia.

Foxx, 55, checked into a premier physical rehabilitation center in Chicago just a couple of weeks later where he’s been seeking treatment ever since.

The “Dreamgirls” actor was seen aboard a boat sailing down the Chicago River over the weekend to promote his alcohol brand, Brown Sugar Bourbon.

The lucky woman’s son also posted on Instagram that Foxx said he “feels good.”

Foxx also fired off his first tweet since his health scare, which of course was about his event.

“Boat life 🦊 Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn,” he wrote. “Stay blessed!”

He also was seen at a Topgolf driving range in Naperville, Ill., Saturday, with an eyewitness saying Foxx had a “strong” swing.

“He was walking regular, not dragging his leg,” an eyewitness shared with TMZ. “His arm movement were definitely good. He was just regular Jamie.”

Neither the “Django Unchained” star nor his daughter Corinne have revealed the cause of his health woes. However, a rep for Foxx shot down a conspiracy theory that claimed the COVID-19 vaccine caused his hospitalization, calling the hearsay “completely inaccurate.”

Corinne, 29, also confirmed that her father had been “out of the hospital for weeks” after a false report claimed their family was “preparing for the worst.”

“Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she wrote via her Instagram Story in May.
