Jake Paul Hogan, 34, did not appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Friday as he faces charges of possessing a prohibited drug and housebreaking implements.
Court documents reveal the grandson of the Crocodile Dundee star was allegedly in possession of 1.5g of meth shortly before midnight on July 27 in Glebe in Sydney’s CBD.
At the time, he also allegedly had equipment used to break into residences and business, including an adjustable spanner.
If found guilty and convicted of both offences, he could be given up to two years in prison.
Hogan was due to reappear before the court on Friday for a mention, but after he did not attend – despite being called multiple times – police applied for a warrant for his arrest.
In approving the request, Magistrate Clare Farnan told the court she had found the alleged offences ‘proven’ and that Mr Hogan was due to return to court on August 28.
The court was told the 34-year-old had also breached two community corrections orders and ‘a number of intensive corrections orders’ by not attending court Friday.
