Jackie ‘O’ Henderson broke down in tears on live radio on Thursday as she revealed how she ‘lost’ a $250,000 pink diamond ring she’d hired from a Sydney jeweller.
The KIIS FM presenter, 48, was loaned $300,000 worth of diamonds from House of K’dor for the wedding of her co-host Kyle Sandilands late last month.
One of the items she was loaned was the $250k ring, which she said ‘disappeared’ from her finger while she was swimming at the beach near her home in Clovelly.
But fortunately she won’t be a quarter of a million dollars out of pocket because the whole saga was just an elaborate prank on House of K’dor.
During the Only Lying segment, Jackie called up the company’s co-founder Zena K’dor to break the news of the ‘lost’ ring.

She said she felt awful about the situation, especially since Zena and her husband Tariq K’dor are long-time friends of The Kyle and Jackie O Show and provided the wedding rings for Kyle and his wife Tegan Kynaston free of charge.
Before the prank, Jackie told listeners: ‘She is the nicest person ever. She is just calm and beautiful all the time. It’s gonna take a little bit of working here [to wind her up].’
When she began the call, Jackie turned on the waterworks – and Zena had the fright of her life.
‘Zena, I’m so sorry, I don’t know how to tell you this… I’ve lost the ring and I don’t know what happened,’ she said.
‘I had it on yesterday and I went from tennis [to] the beach and I think I lost it when I went swimming at Clovelly,’ she added.

Zena remarkably kept calm during the call, but admitted she was worried what her husband would say.
‘We will sort it all out,’ she said.
‘I don’t know why you would have worn it at the beach… I need to speak to Tariq. Is there any way I can see you for a coffee? We’ll find it. Let’s track back where you think you’ve lost it.’

‘It’s at Clovelly, I went snorkelling yesterday and I forgot I was wearing it,’ Jackie said.
‘Ah f**k it, okay. Come in and have a coffee,’ Zena replied.
‘I just bought a house and I can’t afford this ring,’ Jackie wept. ‘You sound like you’re expecting me to pay for this ring.’
She went on to say she ‘had another wedding’ coming up and hinted she wanted to be loaned even more jewellery, before finally putting Zena out of her misery.
‘Only lying!’ she announced.

A shocked Zena was on the brink of tears by the point, but was clearly relieved to learn it was all just a prank.
‘I’m not on air, am I? I can’t believe you did that to me, Jackie!’ she said.
‘Oh, Jackie, I honestly thought you and I had to go to Clovelly with a metal detector,’ she laughed.

The ceremony was held at the $60m heritage-listed Swifts mansion in Darling Point.
