After two years of production delays, Mummies is finally coming to a theater near you. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this upcoming animation.
Featuring voiceovers from Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners) and Eleanor Tomlinson (Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging), this movie follows three mummies in search of a ring that belonged to a royal family as they embark on a journey to present-day London.
So where can you watch Mummies? Is it on Netflix? What about HBO Max? Here’s everything we know about the new movie:
WHERE TO WATCH MUMMIES:
As of now, the only place to watch Mummies is to go to a movie theater when it drops on Friday, Feb. 24. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Other than that, you will have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video, Apple, and Vudu or stream on HBO Max. Read on for more information.

WHEN WILL MUMMIES BE STREAMING ON HBO MAX?
Since Mummies is being distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery, it will, indeed, join HBO Max. However, unlike last year when the company would drop their movies on the streaming platform the same day they were released in theaters, we are going to have to wait at least 45 days before we can watch from the comfort of our living rooms.
While there is no official streaming release date yet, Black Adam, another Warner Bros. movie, was released in theaters on Oct. 21 and didn’t make its way to HBO Max until Dec. 16 — just over 45 days after it debuted. If Mummies follows the same trajectory, it’s possible we won’t be able to stream it until mid-April 2023.
WILL MUMMIES BE ON NETFLIX?
No, Mummies is not on Netflix — and it likely won’t be any time soon seeing as it is going to stream on HBO Max. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a theater or wait for it to become available on streaming and VOD.
