Imaginary, which stars DeWanda Wise and Tom Payne, is Blumhouse Productions’ latest horror movie — and it’s coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways to watch this new flick!
In the movie, Jessica (Wise) returns to her childhood home, where she gifts her stepdaughter her old teddy bear named Chauncey. However, the child soon develops an eerie connection with the bear, which quickly takes a sinister turn.

WHERE TO WATCH IMAGINARY:
As of now, the only way to watch Imaginary is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, March 8. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.
WHEN WILL IMAGINARY BE ON STREAMING? WILL IMAGINARY BE ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO?
While a digital release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate on when Imaginary will become available to rent or purchase based on a previous movie distributed by Lionsgate. Saw X joined digital on Oct. 20 — about three weeks after its theatrical debut. If Imaginary follows the same trajectory, you may be able to watch from the comfort of your home as early as Friday, March 29.
Plus, it’s possible that Imaginary will eventually come to Peacock due to a deal that gives the streamer access to all Lionsgate theatrical releases beginning in 2024.

No, Imaginary will likely not be available on Max (previously knoswn as HBO Max) since it is not a Warner Bros. Discovery film.
