Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened an attack on the U.S. if Donald Trump authorizes strikes on its nuclear bunkers as Israel braces for a sixth day of bombing.
The warning came as Donald Trump addressed the media for the first time since he called a Situation Room meeting to decide whether the U.S. will join strikes on Iran.
He said that Iran ‘wants to negotiate,’ and he has not decided whether to authorize the U.S. military to strike Iran’s nuclear sites.
‘I may do it, I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do,’ he teased on the White House front lawn.
Earlier today, Khamenei said in a televised address that Iran would ‘never surrender’ after Trump demanded an ‘unconditional’ exit from the conflict, now in its sixth day.
He also chillingly warned Americans that ‘any military involvement by the U.S. will undoubtedly result in irreparable damage to them.’
Lebanon’s terror group Hezbollah plans to take action if Trump involves the U.S. in the ongoing conflict.
Earlier, Trump said Iran is ‘totally defenseless’ after Israeli attacks using U.S. weaponry.
