Ice-T and Coco Austin have revealed their decision to expand their family. The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star confirmed to E! News that they are “one and done” when it comes to having more children.
According to Ice-T, their daughter Chanel already brings so much joy and energy into their lives that they don’t need another child. He also stated that Chanel “fills up the room” with her presence, indicating that they are satisfied with their current family and will not give their daughter a younger sibling.
‘I Think Our Life Fits One Child Only’
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star is a proud father to three children: LeTesha Morrow, 47, and Tracy Marrow Jr., 31, from earlier relationships, and his 7-year-old daughter Chanel with his wife, Austin.
Despite having a big family, Ice-T has confirmed that he and Austin have no plans to have more children. The rapper also cited his age as a factor in the decision-making, stating, “I had Chanel when I was 57,” he said. “So I’m 65.” He added that Austin “didn’t want to have kids until she was 30.”
In a 2018 interview with E! News, Austin had previously stated that they were content with their family size, “The way we travel is so extremely hard. Honestly, I think our life fits one child only.”

She continued, “I don’t think Chanel would like a baby sister or a baby brother. She gets jealous! Chanel gets jealous of other kids. It’s so weird because Chanel still breastfeeds, she still nurses…every time I hold a baby and the baby is close to my boob, she goes, ‘My boob!’”

“Because you can start to slow down—I can’t start to slow down. I’ve got grown kids. Now I’ve got a new daughter, and I’m so focused on her. It’s just amazing. It’s a great thing. And you’ve gotta have a reason for living; you’ve gotta have motivation. Chanel is my new motivation.”
