A teenager has died in a suspected stabbing in Melbourne’s southwest last night.

Police have launched a hunt for the suspects after the 18-year-old man was killed in front of a home at Wyndham Vale.

It is understood two groups of people were involved in a fight at Butler Grove about 9.45pm yesterday.

The youth died at the scene.

No arrests have been made but police believe those involved are known to each other.

Police are continuing to determine how the incident unfolded and investigations are continuing today.
