His childhood friend Alex Cangialosi paid tribute today, saying he was always smiling.
“When i found out what happened to him, I literally broke,” he told 9News.
“He walked into a room and it was like party time. He was always a loving friend, someone you could always count on. A big-hearted guy.”
Fatho was jailed following a drug raid at a Craigieburn factory in 2018. Police say he was one of the masterminds of the operation.
Cangialosi said he thought his friend was getting his life back on track when he last saw him two years ago.
“It’s just sad to see where he’s ended up,” he said.
