A woman and child have died following a horror crash with a truck on a busy motorway.
A silver SUV collided with a cement truck along the Hume Motorway under the Menangle Road overpass in Sydney at 11.20am on Monday.
The female driver and the child died at the scene while a second child was treated by paramedics after they arrived at the crash via a Toll helicopter.

The truck driver was uninjured and will undergo mandatory testing.
Commuter chaos has ensued with traffic building up along the road.
Live Traffic advised drivers to use the M1 Princes Motorway or Picton Road instead.
‘Motorists are advised to avoid the area,’ it wrote in a tweet.
‘All northbound motorists are being diverted off the motorway at Picton Road and should consider using the M1 Princes Motorway or Appin Road instead.
‘Southbound motorists are being diverted at Narellan Road where they can use Appin Road to travel south.’
