A raging driver has brutally side-swiped a motorcyclist in heavy traffic.
The incident unfolded on the Hume Highway near Casula in Sydney’s south-west, with a motorbike and a silver Audi seen crossing back and forth between lanes moments before the collision.
Terrifying dashcam footage posted on Sunday shows the car tailing behind in the right-side land before it speeds up and swerves into the motorbike, sending the rider hurtling across four lanes of traffic before crashing into a barrier.

Miraculously the rider was not hit by another vehicle as he lost control.

The original poster of the video said that they had given the disturbing footage to the police.
A commenter wrote that ‘The Audi (driver) should be charged with attempted murder’.
‘However … you have to recognise that f***wit drivers have to (be) avoided not accelerated in front of.’
Others reacted in horror to what they’d just watched.

Another agreed that the car driver should face serious charges, saying ‘That is one way to commit attempted vehicular manslaughter. I hope they like 24/7 bars.’

There was also some advice for motorcyclists who find themselves in a similar situation.
‘To any other riders on here. If any of you get into a situation like this where a car has decided to use their vehicle as a weapon. Don’t just sit there like this bloke.
‘Break the f****** law – rip the throttle open for a couple seconds and lane split a few cars to put some distance between you and the nutcase.
‘A risk which you control is infinitely better than being a sitting duck for an unhinged lunatic.’
