A human torso was found lying on Breezy Point Beach in a disturbing broad-daylight discovery Friday afternoon, cops said.
The NYPD responded to a 911 call around 12:20 p.m. about a human torso found, with its legs attached, on the sand at the popular beach on the southern tip of Queens, police said.
The person, whose age and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police could not immediately confirm how the person died, noting that the investigation is ongoing.
The city medical examiner’s office will officially determine a cause of death.
