Human case of bird flu confirmed in Oregon, linked to poultry plant

Nov 15 – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday confirmed highly pathogenic form of bird flu in a person linked to a commercial poultry operation in Clackamas County in Oregon.

“There is no evidence of person-to-person transmission and the risk to the public is low,” the CDC said.
