For thousands of New South Wales’ school students, the results of years of hard work will pay off when they receive their HSC results and ATAR.
Then at 9am the ATARs will be released.
Whether you’re shooting for the stars or just hoping to avoid an asterisk, here’s everything you need to know.
How to get your HSC results
They were published at 6am this morning. Students will also be able to download and print their full credentials from the NSW Education Standard Association (NESA) website.

Hard copies of the certificate (the “C” in “HSC” will be mailed to students in January 2024.

NSW ATAR’s will be released at 9am.
Students will need a NESA student number and UAC PIN to log in, before seeing the highly anticipated (or dreaded) number.
An ATAR, or Australian Tertiary Acceptance Rank, is one of the rankings that Universities use to determine who to offer places to in their preferred courses.
