Priyanka Chopra was obviously in a great mood during her “Call Her Daddy” interview because she shared a mouthful about her husband, Nick Jonas. Of course, Chopra spoke about meatier subject matters — like her upbringing In India and her career as a Bollywood-turned-Hollywood actor. But Chopra’s commentary about Nick Jonas is what everyone initially tuned in for. And it was definitely worth waiting for. For starters, Chopra shared that Jonas first reached out to her through her DMs, which inspired her to look him up. “I did Nick Jonas, ‘Close’ came up, and I was like sold,” the “Citadel” star revealed. “I didn’t even need to look at any s**t,” she continued referencing his past relationships. “I don’t give a f**k who he’s dated. We’re talking about the future. I don’t read my book backward. I believe you go forward in the chapters. There’s a reason you’ve left people behind.”

Chopra also revealed that she trusts Jonas more than anyone else in her life. “Like, I’ve found my husband, and I have this incredible partnership of ‘I’ve got you,’ and we communicate, and we feel a sense of…you know that trust exercise? I would never do that with anyone else except Nick,” Chopra shared. “I don’t trust people. But he’s one that, just, I know has my back.”
