How Cameron Diaz And Kate Hudson's Rumored Feud Over A-Rod Began

Before there was Alex Rodriguez, there was Justin Timberlake. A year after Timberlake ditched Britney Spears, he dated Cameron Diaz for four years. Things got pretty intense before they split in 2007. Timberlake wasted no time crying himself a river, though. Instead, he reportedly got his sexy back with Kate Hudson. They reportedly had a year-long steamy hook-up.

However, in 2008, Hudson moved on to Rodriguez and they were spotted getting hot and heavy in Miami. Over the following months, she was constantly snapped cheering A-Rod on from the sidelines. Then, just like that, strike out! “It was a turnoff to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera,” a source told Us Weekly. “Alex wanted someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship than just building their profile.”

Enter Diaz. She and A-Rod were first seen together dancing at a pre-Super Bowl party in February 2010. There was already beef between Diaz and Hudson over Timberlake, but things turned nuclear over Rodriguez. Diaz was the antithesis of Hudson, rarely appearing at games and keeping their relationship super private. However, by September 2011, it was game over for Diaz and Rodriguez, but extra innings for her and Hudson.
