- Couple dead after suspected robbery gone wrong
A husband and wife have tragically been left dead in a suspected robbery gone wrong in Sydney’s west.
A 69-year-old man and 68-year-old woman are believed to have been fatally stabbed inside Buzzy Bee’s Burger House, Cambridge Park after officers found two bodies about 9.40am on Saturday.
Police attended the business following reports of an assault.
‘A crime scene was established and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, assisted by the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad,’ a NSW Police spokesperson said.
‘No further information is available at this stage.’
The deceased are yet to be officially identified, but it has been reported the couple were Buzzy Bee’s owners Hoa Tek Chien and Heang Kim Gau.
Locals expressed their condolences to the family and expressed their shock.
‘Been going to Busy Bees for years, such a beautiful family. Sad day for our community,’ a Cambridge Park woman wrote.

Detectives have spent Saturday morning on Oxford Street in Cambridge parks following reports of an assault about 9.40am
‘May Ma and Pa rest in peace … their sons are in shock and so devastated right now. The community is here for you boys,’ another said.
‘Robbery gone wrong, ended in both their lives being taken from them, rest in peace, Cambo won’t be the same without them 2 been going there for 20 years,’ another man wrote.
One woman said she waited with two boys in a laneway, while they were ‘bawling their eyes out inconsolably’ after the incident.
