A man has been killed in a horror workplace accident at a local business after a pallet jack fell onto him.
The accident happened at the business located in South Road, Croydon Park in Adelaide’s north on Friday at 7.30am.
The man was using the machine when he suddenly fell backwards before the pallet jack fell on top of him and then crushed him.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the 62-year-old man who is from the nearby suburb of Parafield Gardens could not be saved.
Earlier, apprentice workers from a business next door had rushed to help lift the machine off the man while paramedics arrived according to 7 news.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
Officials from Safe Work SA are at the worksite and are investigating the incident.
