The videos have caught the attention of highway patrol officers who believe they know who was behind the wheel in Orange.
The main street of the town, 3.5 hours drive inland from Sydney, was turned into a drag strip over the weekend.
A blue Ford Falcon was filmed performing burnouts and donuts, while two masked passengers hang out the windows, high-fiving onlookers.
The dangerous stunt attracted a crowd, with the occupants showing contempt to a passing highway patrol car.
Deputy Mayor Gerald Power called the video “alarming”.
