Police have issued a public appeal for help in locating the man alleged to be behind the brazen act in Horsham, 300km north-west of Melbourne last week.

The incident began last Monday at around 2.55pm, when it’s understood a grey Holden VE SS Commodore station wagon began doing burnouts on Wawunna Road whilst a service was taking place.

The car continued past the cemetery on Davis Drive, where it left the road, causing large rocks to be flicked up at parked vehicles.

A woman was sitting inside one of the parked cars when rocks smashed her back window.

She was not physically injured during the incident.

The Commodore driver was confronted by witnesses but refused to provide his details and left the scene.

The Holden VE SS Commodore was not displaying registration plates and had a distinctive yellow rim on the front tyre.

The man is described as being of a medium build with short brown hair and a short beard.

He was wearing black pants, a black jacket and sunglasses.

Investigators have released images of both the car involved and the man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incidents, has dashcam footage, CCTV or any other information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
