Homicide squad detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Perth‘s southern suburbs.

A man in his 60s was found unresponsive in the carpark of a pub in Cockburn Central on Friday night.

Shadowy figures are seen on CCTV gathering in the carpark of the Local House Bar and Grill.

The vision skips before the group are seen surrounding a man on the ground.

Emergency services received calls about 11.40pm with reports the man had serious head injuries. He died at the scene.

Homicide squad detectives today closed off Argong Chase combing the scene for clues.

The Local House Bar and Grill was recently renovated and is a popular spot for locals in Cockburn Central.

The venue had already closed for the night when the man was found.

A manager told 9News he understands whatever happened was contained to the carpark.
