Homes are under threat after a caravan burst into flames and the fire spread to bushland Perth’s south.

A watch and act is in place for parts of Oakford.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advised people to leave now if the way is clear.

There are two blazes burning, which are believed to have been sparked by a caravan which caught fire about 4.20pm.

Around 50 fire fighters have been called in as well as air support.

So far there are no confirmed reports of homes damaged.

It’s unclear how the caravan caught fire.

Crews are hopeful they will be able to bring the fire under control tonight.
