Hannah Pringle died in hospital shortly after she was found with stab wounds at her Abbotsford home late on Wednesday night.
This evening two boys – aged 15 and 14 – were charged with one count each of murder after the 41-year-old was found dead.
They will appear before an online remand hearing at the Children’s Court this evening.
The pair were found in camouflage gear and had rations stashed in the bush when they were arrested in connection to the 41-year-old’s death about 135 kilometres away on a property in Learmonth yesterday afternoon, 9News understands.
Pringle was a member of the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA), with her “heartbreaking and tragic passing being felt right across the organisation”.
“We are in shock and deeply saddened, and our thoughts and sympathies continue to be with her family, friends and colleagues,” ESTA chief executive Stephen Leane told 9News.

“Hannah provided so much to our organisation and the Victorian community through her service.
“Hannah joined ESTA in 2012 working as a police and SES call-taker before moving to fire call-taking, and recently held a position as a police dispatcher and workplace trainer.”
Pringle was also a former army reservist.
It’s alleged the two boys arrested in connection with her death fled the scene in [her] car, which was damaged and dumped in St Kilda.
No charges have been laid over Pringle’s death.
The boys remain in police custody and are being interviewed by detectives.
