Woolworths are celebrating Christmas by dropping the price of their prawns to just $14 per kilo.
The supermarket giant’s discounted seafood prices run right through the festive season from December 13 to December 26.
Prawns aren’t the only discounted shellfish on the menu – customers will also be able to get their hands on rock lobsters for just $23 a pop.
The price of smoked salmon has also been slashed to just $25 for a 500g pack which is a $6 saving

Woolworths expects the lobsters to be popular; more than 100,000 of them are likely to be sold before Christmas day.
The retailer has also stocked up on Moreton Bay Bugs ahead of Christmas; they are an exclusive item and retail at $45.
The retailer has also introduced pre-prepared seafood products for time-poor people to enjoy.
From Tasmanian salmon with lemon myrtle and honey marinade or balsamic and maple glaze to lobster tails with lashings of garlic butter the team have it sorted.
The range also includes Barramundi with lemon myrtle and wattle and a salmon roast with apple and cranberry stuffing.

Speaking to FEMAIL a spokesperson from Woolworths explained the range of pre-prepared prawns on offer.
From jumbo prawn skewers to prawns which have been peeled and de veined.
The popular prawn ring platter is also available in the freezer section and has been described as ‘the perfect entrée’.
