As the reigning queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum knows a thing or two about creating a spooktacular costume.
The supermodel’s famous for transforming herself annually, with unforgettable looks ranging from an old woman to Jessica Rabbit to a wiggling worm.
But while the star employs plenty of prosthetics and makeup to create her famed costumes, not all of her Halloween essentials cost big bucks; she took to Amazon Live last week to share her must-haves for the eerie holiday, which include several under-$50 finds.
In fact, the model says she DIY’d her costumes for “the first six or seven years” of her iconic Halloween parties.
“I always did my own hair and makeup,” she said on the livestream. “So when you see all of these crazy looks that I had — for example, when I was the apple for Adam and Eve …. or when I was an alien and needed all gold.”

One thing shoppers can’t find on Amazon, however? The secret to what Klum will dress as this year. “I racked my brain so hard to come up with something good again, and I feel like I did, but you decide when you see it on the 31st,” she said.
While we wait to see what costume the catwalker came up with for 2023, keep reading to shop some of her Amazon favorites.

Looking to execute Klum-level Halloween makeup, sans prosthetics? “This little box also is so amazing because it has every little color in there that you need,” said the star.

For Halloween looks on the edgier side, this fake blood makes the cut for the “Making the Cut” co-host’s must-haves.
“You need blood, because it has to be gory… you can have it dripping out of your mouth,” she suggested. “Don’t beat yourself up over it if you can’t get it exactly.”

Open doors to new decorating possibilities with home decor like this glowing doorbell, which Klum dubbed “one of her new favorites.”

Buying fake spider webs on, well, the web? Klum’s online shopping favorites include this Amazon buy.
“These little things go such a long way … I buy so many of them,” she raved of the seasonal staple, a “key” decoration she puts “all around” both inside and outside her house.

No bones about it, Klum loves seasonal decor — including these skeletons. “The nice thing about these is that they move around, so that’s why I put them in the mix,” she said.

Thanks to its “yum yum” smell, Klum doesn’t save these pumpkin chai candles for Halloween. She told Amazon she keeps one in her bedroom “all year round” as it’s her “absolute favorite.”

“I love to do [pumpkin] carving, but I also love to bedazzle them from the outside,” said Klum, who sang the praises of this carving kit featuring “little stencils.”

Another Halloween party idea Klum’s brewing up? Cauldron servingware so that “when you have your friends come over,” you can “have little offerings for everyone.”

Klum’s not the only one using this skull-shaped baking pan, as it comes backed by over 7,500 largely glowing customer reviews.
