Heartless straphanger snatched sleeping passenger’s dog on NYC subway

Cops are hunting for a heartless New York subway thief who stole a sleeping passenger’s American Bully and took off with it in a brazen robbery in the Bronx.

The pup was snatched from its 45-year-old owner on a northbound D train close to the Bainbridge Avenue and East 206th Street station at around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, NYPD sources said on Wednesday.

The unidentified dog-napper then took off with the black and brown dog, police said.

“The individual is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 20–25 years of age, slender build, medium length black braids, brown eyes and a black goatee,” police said.

So far there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
