Hay fever sufferers have been warned to stay alert over the coming days as the weather begins to heat-up across Australia.

Pollen levels have been lifted from high to extreme in parts of Victoria, as the state reaches a top a top of 25 degrees today.

Temperatures will continue to climb over the coming days, with Tuesday reaching a top of 27 degrees.

The warm stretch will also be felt in Adelaide, as the city is set to reach its hottest days since last Summer.

While Sydney is set to reach a top of 24 degrees today and Brisbane a top of 25 degrees. 

Monitoring systems across Sydney have pollen levels at Moderate.
