On Instagram, she dropped three pictures featuring the celebrant as an infant in the first, a toddler in the second, and a teenager in the third slide. The first snap showed a framed black and white photograph of the mother and daughter duo with a note that read, “Love you more.”

Nahla could be seen alone in the following slide, lying on a knitted hammock close to the sea and backing the camera.

In the final photo, she sat cross-legged on a couch, donning shorts and a plaid shirt while she covered her face with a cap. “One of the greatest gifts the universe has given me is my daughter Nahla,” the overjoyed mother wrote in the caption. “She is the sun that never fades and the moon that never wanes!”

In conclusion, she implored her followers to join her in wishing the birthday girl “a happy 15th Birthday,” adding, “I love you, sweet angel.”

The post gained over 35k reactions, with thousands following her request by taking to the comments to send prayers and well wishes. One such fan was Viola Davis, who exclaimed, “Happiest of birthdays, beautiful Nahla!!” and another who called the celebrant an “awesome girl” who is “so so loved.”

A third follower was amazed at how grown Nahla was as they gushed, “Nahla is 15!!! I remember when you were pregnant with her! Happy birthday Nahla!”  One other commenter sent “all the love” and expressed, “Happy earthsong fierce Nahla – Your voice is necessary. Sing out loud and proud!”

“Happy birthday, Nahla! Wishing you many blessings and dreams come true,” an admirer penned, whereas another declared in shock, “15 already??? Omg. Happiest of birthday, dear Nahla.”

Similarly, a commenter wondered if Berry made a typo by writing 15th birthday as they could not believe the actress’ daughter was that grown.

The “Monster’s Ball” Actress Loves Being A Mother To Her Two Sweet Children

Berry takes pride in being a protective doting mother to her two kids, Nahla and Maceo Robert Martinez, even ensuring they are rarely seen out and about.

The 56-year-old also never tires of raving over the duo in interviews, even though she hardly posts pictures of them on social media.

In early 2020, she revealed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” an important lesson she taught her baby girl during the coronavirus pandemic about learning to brush her hair every day to prevent it from getting matted. Later, in 2021, Berry celebrated Nahla’s 13th birthday with an adorable throwback picture alongside a message that read, “No matter how many times I tell her I love her, I love her more than that.”

As for her son, Maceo, born in October 2013 and whom she shares with Oliver Martinez, she once disclosed that she had had multiple conversations about gender differences, teaching him to rethink the stereotypes. In addition, on his 8th birthday, she gave the world a rare glimpse of him on social media, typically obscuring his face but still a delight to her fans.

It is no news that the “Bulworth” actress had kids at an older age, over 40, which she believed was the perfect period as she felt she was ready and knew herself better. She further elaborated that waiting until such an age implied that she could put her kids forward in a “more meaningful way.”

Opening more about her parenting journey, Berry admitted via a 2020 Instagram Live, “I’ve learned a lot being with my children. They are the best company for me right now.” She also called her kids her “greatest teachers” and “truth-tellers” in an AARP magazine interview, whom she always listened to and learned so much from.
