Grace Tame has slammed suggestions she’s split with her fiance after revelations he has left the board of the Australian of the Year’s foundation and the couple have not posted about each other for months.
When the revelations were published by The Australian’s Margin Call column, fiance Max Heerey posted several photos and a video showing him playing with their pet cat Iggy and dog Zappa in a post made on Thursday night.
‘Choose your fighter!!! Our growing family,’ the cryptic post read.
The post followed rumours they could have split after Ms Tame failed to upload any photos of her fiance for at least nine months.
Mr Heerey added fuel to the rumours after taking a step back from his duties at The Grace Tame Foundation on December 14.

Ms Tame last uploaded a photo of Mr Heerey to her Instagram page in May 2022.
A photo showed the couple posing together with Mr Heerey’s arm wrapped around his partner with Ms Tame smiling from ear to ear.
‘Me in Mum’s old dress. You in my hat. Us together in each other’s arms. Lovers,’ the post read.
‘Best friends. Family. Sharing everything. Sharing the world. Thanks for standing by me.’
Mr Heerey uploaded his last photo of his fiance to his Instagram page in April 2022.
He last mentioned Ms Tame in a post featuring a photo of himself standing next to UK comedian Bill Bailey in October.
Ms Tame has shot down speculation of a rift between the pair and gone on the front foot in her latest post to show they are stronger than ever.
Mr Heerey is seen in the Instagram post dressed in a hoodie and resting peacefully on the ground next to the couple’s dog Zappa.

The image appears to be a throwback photo of Zappa as a pup with another one showing Mr Heerey holding him while the dog wears glasses.
One video showed Mr Heerey nuzzling their pet cat Iggy while he sits with a laptop on the couple’s sofa.
Mr Heerey stepped down as company secretary of The Grace Tame Foundation on December 14.
He also mysteriously stood down as company director in late January, raising eyebrows his relationship with the former Australian of the Year could be on the rocks.
Everyone named as a director for The Grace Tame Foundation work for no salary, according to its website.
The post indicates the couple remain strong following rumours they could have split with neither person appearing on their socials for weeks and Mr Heerey taking a step back from his duties at The Grace Tame Foundation
The couple confirmed they were engaged in January last year.
Mr Heerey helped to create the charitable organisation that helps children who experience sexual abuse and launched the foundation with Tame in 2021.
Speculation swirled the couple could have been on the rocks with the rumoured fallout explaining his decision to distance himself from the foundation.
The second explanation is that Mr Heerey has decided to focus his efforts on his business Mowing Tasmania.
Mr Heerey launched the enterprise in September and acts as the sole director and secretary of the organisation.
Daily Mail Australia contacted Mr Heerey and Ms Tame for comment.
Ms Tame announced her engagement to Mr Heerey in a gushing Instagram post in January 2022.
The post showed off Grace’s unconventional ring with a dark deep blue sapphire stone and showed the moment Max popped the question while on a bike ride.
‘I said, “yeeeES!!!” OATH YES! Love you forever and ever angel man,’ Grace captioned the post.
The couple met on social running app Strava in 2020.
They chatted with each other before meeting up for dinner AFL Grand Final Day at a south-east Asian restaurant in Hobart, Tasmania.
