Musk: 'It Is Tough Sledding, But I Think We're Doing the Right Thing Here'

I have to say that was one of the best hours I’ve ever had glued to the tube.

We watch Jesse Watters every night – he really is pretty entertaining – but we had no idea that the little secret assignment he’d alluded to when explaining his absence was going to make for such an informative, infuriating, and inspiring installment of his show.

Watters had been invited to join Elon Musk and his DOGE team of rocket scientists for one of their nightly 10 pm (!) headbanging sessions.

I want to say from the outset that every single American should have a chance to see at least these snippets, if not the entire thing, which I’ll load up at the end.

These are amazing Americans working incredible hours, finding unbelievable things, and doing tremendous service to this country and its citizens, often at great personal cost to themselves.

You’ll listen to what they’ve found, how they express themselves, and holy smokes. We are so phenomenally blessed to have them working for us.

So, Watters got into that room full of guys in their early twenties to what looks like mid-forties or so, and with Elon playing moderator, was treated first to a jaw-dropping round of ‘What we did this week.

The young lad working at Treasury (Remember all the heartburn about that?) explained how there has been a little multi-trillion-dollar cash box which has been available for tapping with no receipts for whatever funds were being withdrawn.

DOGE’s radical change was requiring a receipt to be uploaded prior to the money leaving the building. That’s all.

You’ll never guess what happened after they did that.

The Small Business Administration saw dead people and decided they were a good business loan bet, time and again, for about $330M.

There’s a terrific lesson in the pyramid scheme that is non-governmental organizations (NGO) and why everyone from Stacey Abrams to Catholics Charities and in between form one – there’s a buttload of money to be made from the grants handed out if you’ve got that sort of mindset.

It’s the perfect money filtering operation.

This particular example had to do with an NGO that got $50M to explore the ‘marketability of peas in Guatemala’ among other worthy, altruistic pursuits.

FITTYMILLIONDOLLARS

Elon’s team member explains how little of that taxpayer-funded largesse actually dribbled down from Washington to the pea people. Then Elon describes how that’s was a best-case scenario, for usually it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of fifteen cents on the dollar, if that much.

The young guy who so beautifully explains peas in Guatemala and Peruvian alpaca farming is someone who left Harvard to work for DOGE and is now persona non grata among his classmates on campus.

What a service he’s performing for all of us, and what a wonderful young man he is.

What a wretched hive of scum and villainy Harvard continually proves itself to be.

Another wild segment dealt with the federal retirement filing cave aka spelunking for paperwork.

As promised, the Notorious Big Balls made his public appearance to much hilarity, and then the lad eviscerated the ingrained, systemic attitude that allows taxpayer money to vaporize.

He’s a good kid.

This is just a teaser from the ‘Institute of Peace’ segment (starts at 9:41 in the episode video below), but WOWSAHS.

That super small, select little agency got $55M a year, had weapons on the property, payments to the Taliban, were busy wiping terabytes of records as DOGE tried to access the building, and was a taxpayer-funded kingdom unto itself.

Towards the end of the segment, Watters asks Elon, ‘Is DOGE just getting started? This is a long-term enterprise?

How Elon answers him is so true and so truly sad.

It’s a long-term enterprise because, if we take our eye off the ball, the waste and fraud will come roaring back.’

They know that if Democrats ever take control again, the floodgates will once again open. What they hope to do is take away the funding mechanisms while increasing the oversight and, as Elon says, ‘hopefully slow it down.’

This is really worth spending less than fifteen minutes of your time to watch in its entirety, and I encourage you to share.

We are so lucky, so tremendously blessed, to have these folks on our side.
