Five weeks after being found to be ‘seriously corrupt’, former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian had a beam on her face on a morning walk with her partner Arthur Moses.
Her former deputy premier John Barilaro has also been photographed out with his partner, Jennifer Lugsdin, but arriving at a music concert, not an early morning stroll.
The sighting of a relieved looking Ms Berejiklian and Mr Barilaro comes after the pair left behind their career in politics.
Ms Berejiklian was found to have engaged in corrupt conduct by the Independent Commission Against Corruption in June.
The watchdog made the findings almost two years after Ms Berejiklian quit as NSW premier.

Corrupt findings were also made against her ex-lover and former Liberal MP for Wagga Wagga Daryl Maguire.
ICAC said ‘Ms Berejiklian engaged in serious corrupt conduct by breaching public trust in 2016 and 2017 through exercising her official functions in relation to funding promised and/or awarded’.
After leaving politics in 2021, Mr Barilaro had to resign from an elite $500,000 trade job in New York before he even started over public backlash.
He made headlines again after he was charged over a scuffle with a freelance cameraman on Sydney’s northern beaches outside a Manly restaurant in July 2022.
A magistrate dismissed the assault charge against the former NSW deputy premier on mental health grounds in February.
The matter was due to be heard in September, however Mr Barilaro’s lawyer Danny Eid applied to Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court to have his charges dealt with on mental health grounds.
Magistrate Susan Horan granted the application after ‘compelling’ evidence was presented to the court, including reports from Mr Barilaro’s treating clinicians.
Mr Barilaro was ordered to continue routinely seeing his clinicians for three months and reasonable intervals at their direction after that, under the order which lasts for one year.
Neither Ms Berejiklian nor Mr Barilaro let their cares get in the way of exercise over the weekend – a good walk for Ms Berejiklian and dancing the night away for Mr Barilaro.
While keeping fit with a walk had long been a favoured activity for the former premier and her barrister boyfriend, her former deputy’s love of techno, trance and house music had previously gone unheralded.

Mr Moses wore blue sneakers, black shorts showing off his athletic legs, and a dark blue top featuring the logo of his beloved Parramatta Eels rugby league team.
As well as his dedication to his legal work – which has seen him serve as the president of both the NSW Bar Association and Law Council of Australia – Mr Moses is a fitness fanatic.
‘He is very keen on personal fitness, he’s extremely fit and runs up to 10km most days,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia when his relationship with Ms Berejiklian first became public in June 2021.
Mr Barilaro and Ms Lugsdin were also appropriately dressed for the occasion as they went to party at the Ministry of Sound at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on Saturday night.
The former National Party leader, sporting a snazzy new haircut, wore a black jacket over a plain white t-shirt, black jeans and white sneakers.
Ms Lugsdin wore a stylish three-button white jacket with fur trim around the neck, cuffs and hips, a black mini-skirt and high heeled black shoes with brown soles.
The entertainment on offer included Phil Hartnoll of iconic UK acid-house-meets-trance duo Orbital, Detroit techno pioneers Inner City and Australian DJs such as Groove Terminator and Mark Dynamix.

Last year, Mr Barilaro faced a parliamentary inquiry investigating how he landed a $500,000 taxpayer-funded trade job in New York after resigning as deputy premier.
Mr Barilaro was appointed as the state’s Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner to the Americas but relinquished his role less than weeks after his appointment.
The inquiry found his appointment had ‘all the trademarks of a “job for the boys”.’
‘The inquiry uncovered how a preferred candidate was selected and offered the STIC to the Americas position to only then be discarded in the guise of a nonsensical change of government policy,’ Greens MP and committee chair Cate Faehrmann said.
Mr Barilaro denied any wrongdoing throughout the inquiry.
‘There’s no evidence in this hearing that points to me that I did seek, sought, pressured, public servants in any way. None. Zero,’ he said.
‘You have heard from apolitical public servants who said that I was capable, and a credible candidate, that I would be good at the job.’
