Girl, woman found dead inside Streamwood townhouse, Cook ME says

STREAMWOOD, Ill. (WLS) — A death investigation is underway after a 10-year-old girl and 21-year-old woman were found dead in northwest suburban Streamwood Thursday morning.

Police are investigating at a townhome in the 1500-block of McKool Avenue.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said two people, a 10-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman, were found dead.

A neighbor said he heard two gunshots just before emergency crews showed up.

“I was here at my house around 8:20 p.m. there was gunshots and I was wondering what it was and I finally came outside and I see everything that is happening,” he said.
