Dozens of officers descended on Williams’ home in Melbourne’s north early this morning, as part of a joint investigation by the Fraud Fusion Taskforce, which involves the Australian Federal Police, Services Australia, and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

Forensic police spent several hours combing through Williams’ cars and house, seizing unknown items.

No charges have been laid in relation to the raid and investigations are ongoing.

Williams shot to infamy in Melbourne’s underworld after marrying gangland boss Carl Williams and having a daughter with him before he was bludgeoned to death in prison in 2010.

Services Australia and the AFP say there’s no ongoing threat to the community.
