A fourth man has been charged with murder over the death of Zachery Davies-Scott, a young father from the NSW Hunter region.
Police have been investigating an alleged home invasion and fatal shooting since December 27, 2022, in which 25-year-old Davies-Scott was killed.
Police allege a group of people forced their way into a home in Heddon Greta, about 20 kilometres from Cessnock.

Davies-Scott was fatally shot in what police allege was a robbery gone wrong.
A 52-year-old woman was also at the home and suffered minor injuries after trying to fight off the alleged attackers.
Three men have previously been charged with murder and remain before the courts.
Another woman has been convicted of hindering the investigation.
Today, detectives executed a search warrant at Lambton in Newcastle, where a 45-year-old man was arrested.
A replica pistol, knuckle dusters, prohibited drugs, and a stolen vehicle were all seized in the raid.

The 45-year-old was taken to Waratah Police Station, where he was charged with murder and several firearms offences.
He was refused bail and was expected to appear in Newcastle Local Court today.
Police will allege he was part of a joint criminal enterprise responsible for the 2022 murder.
