Four people have been injured after a car plowed into a pizza restaurant in Adelaide’s east at dinner time.

A Holden Astra sedan crashed through the glass windows of a restaurant on Kensington Road in Rossyln Park just before 8pm yesterday.

Four patrons inside the restaurant were injured.

A 54-year-old man from Campbelltown suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital.

A seven-year-old boy, a 44-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were all left with minor injuries.

They were also taken to hospital.

The driver of the Holden, a 42-year-old woman from Rosslyn Park, was uninjured and is assisting police investigating the crash.
