Four people have been taken to a Brisbane hospital after a car collided with an ambulance that was responding to a high-priority call.
The ambulance was travelling through the intersection of Beckett Road and Albany Creek Road in Bridgeman Downs this morning about 7.30am.
A blue SUV collided with the ambulance which flipped onto its side, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
The ambulance had been driving with its lights and sirens on at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews quickly descended on the intersection.
A male and female paramedic suffered shoulder injuries, and a student paramedic suffered minor injuries.
There was no patient onboard the ambulance at the time.
A man in the other car suffered shoulder and knee injuries.
All four were taken to the St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in a stable condition.
