Four children have been rushed to hospital after a car smashed into a pole.

Emergency services were called to Vincent Street in Auchenflower, in Brisbane’s inner-west, at about 1:15pm on Friday.

Two young boys were taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital, one with abdominal injuries and the other with head injuries.

Two other boys were taken to the same hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said paramedics treated a man at the scene for injuries but he declined further care in hospital.

The extent of his involvement in the crash is unknown.

More to come.
