Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison has spent New Year’s Eve in a surprising spot – at Donald Trump’ party at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Morrison posted a picture on X of himself and his Jenny with Trump and his wife Melania at the event at Trump’s lavish home.
The post, which features the men in tuxedos, was captioned “HNY 2025 from Mar-a-Lago.”
Trump and Morrison’s friendship goes back to September 2019, when he was PM and Trump was president.
Their meetings included Morrison attending the US state dinner in 2019.
“It was nice to catch up again, especially given the pile on he is currently dealing with in the US,” Morrison said.

Mar-a-Largo sits on 17 acres of land in Palm Beach, Florida.
It spans 126 rooms and 62,500 square feet.
Trump will return to office to become the 47th president of the US on January 20.
