She was sentenced today to a $1000 fine and a 12-month good behaviour bond with no convictions recorded.

Uamaki-Mu has 12 other charges, including rape, that she has been committed to stand trial on in District Court at a later date.

Other charges against her, including torture, have been dropped.

Anthony Mu was due to be sentenced on 11 summary offences after more serious charges against him were dropped.
