Forest Whitaker Suffers Tragic Loss Of Ex-Wife Keisha, Dead At 51

On December 7, True Whitaker confirmed the death of her mother, Keisha Nash. Taking to Instagram, True shared a few of Nash’s photos and a heartwarming tribute to her mom’s memory. “Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond,” True wrote on her Instagram Stories (via TMZ). “The most beautiful woman in the world … thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.” At the time of writing, a cause of death is yet to be announced. Forest Whitaker, as well as Nash’s other kids, have also not reacted to the tragic news.

And while she might not measure up to her famous ex’s career in Hollywood, Nash was successful in her own right. In addition to her role in “Blown Away,” Nash also has acting credit in 2004’s “Proud.” The mother of three also seemingly tried her hands behind the scene as an executive producer on “Kassim the Dream,” which was released in 2008, per IMDb.
